Its been a while since the last post, infact 4 months! Where does the time go?
We’ve been hard at it at OEM HQ and have quite a selection of two wheeled creations headed your way over the next few months, the Gladiator, Ripon and Tempest are all coming together nicely and represent some of our best and most innovative work to date!
In the mean time feast your weary eyes on our latest build, the Osprey. Built as our first collaborative piece alongside our friends at ODFU, she’s a real headturner and represents two small business’s working together to showcase the best of British design and creation (or re-creation maybe!)

‘Old Empire’s motorcycles are timeless, beautiful, and personal. The guys are tremendously passionate and talented builders with no shortage of vision, and it was great getting to know them and developing a relationship throughout the Merlin build. The time and care put into the builds is evident in everything, from the passionate initial conversations and sketches to the roaring ride through the British countryside when you pick it up. Naturally, the bike is nothing short of amazing, but based on their previous work I knew it would be.’

The wintertime sun can be a nasty one. There is very little of it, there is very little warmth from it but it still manages to blind you more intensely than any summer sun could do. All the more reason we donned Fan Optics sleek set of ‘Brock’ sunglasses made here in Blighty!
We have worked with them before for our film ‘The Delivery’ and they performed flawlessly throughout the entire trip, so we thought it was a shame not to get them out for the upcoming release of the Bulldog. We think they look mighty fine!

Our latest shoot for the OEM Bulldog turned out to be a fantastic day, the sun shone and the sky was blue, so we decided to take her to a beautiful location hidden in the depths of the north Norfolk countryside of which you will see more of shortly…
We were lucky yet again to have some stunning attire to choose from, a lot of which was kindly supplied by British based company Rivet and Hide. Their specialty is premium selvedge denim sourced from all around the world. For the Bulldog shoot we had a few items which included within was a set of Flathead Japanese denim jeans, the quality and thickness of the denim is unbelievable, very different to the usual sets you see on the high street.
Rivet and Hide also stock Hiut denim and Dawson Denim, some of the only British based denim makers in the country of which you will be seeing more of shortly…
